Relatives of the New Zealand crew who died in the Air New Zealand A320 crash in France a year ago head to France next weekend for the unveiling of a plaque in their memory.
The Airbus A320 crashed into the sea near Perpignan, killing all five New Zealanders and two German crew on board.
The crash occurred while the plane, which had been leased to German airline XL Airways, was undergoing acceptance trials before being handed back to Air New Zealand.

The rocket designed to launch New Zealand into the space race was unveiled today.
Called Manu Korere - which translates as bird messenger - the rocket was designed by private company Rocket Lab, headed by former crown research scientist Peter Beck, 32.
At six metres long and 150mm in diameter the rocket is designed for scientific sub-orbital 'sounding' missions.

TV3 has offered to pick up any Air New Zealand Cup matches that Sky does not wish to screen - but only if it remains a 14-team competition.

Rotorua residents have the chance to participate in aviation history next month with an announcement today that four scenic flights in an historic DC3 aircraft will be available to the public as part of the 12 December Let's GO Rotorua Lakefront Air Show.
The airshow and on-the-ground carnival celebrations are to mark the arrival of Air New Zealand's inaugural direct trans-Tasman flight from Sydney at 2.35pm on 12 December.

The nominees for this year's Steinlager Rugby Awards, New Zealand's premier rugby awards, have been announced.
The Steinlager Rugby Awards recognise and acknowledge the achievements of New Zealand's teams, coaches, players, referees and volunteers in 2009.
The ceremony will be held at the SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland, on Thursday 17 December and broadcast live on SKY Sport and The Rugby Channel.
